In 2009, students of the Asian American Student Union began planning for an endowment that would support student scholarships and educational programs pertaining to Asian American history, culture, and community. Since then, those students now alumni are looking to finish what they started over a decade ago.

With your support, you can help make this dream come true. The Association of Asian Alumni generously asks for your support in raising $30,000 to begin an endowment with the University of Florida. In order to accomplish this, they are seeking the first 300 individuals to donate $100 each to reach their goal of $30,000. Gains from the endowment will go to support:​
​

• Merit and need-based annual scholarships for incoming freshmen and current undergraduates who demonstrate commitment to the betterment of the UF and Asian American community, academic excellence, and leadership
• ​Regional alumni gatherings and events around the country that allow alumni to stay connected to the university
• Educational programming geared towards providing students and alumni the opportunity to learn more about Asian American history, culture, and community
